It has only been just 3 years since twin brothers David and Aaron Cabello Black and Mobile, the first Black-owned delivery service, and they have already expanded to 4 more cities and they plan to add more.
In 2016, David Cabello took a huge risk. An undergrad student at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania at the time, he left school and decided to bet on himself. “I just knew I wanted to help my people,” Cabello tells EBONY. “My desire wasn't geared towards restaurants. It wasn't geared towards any specific type of business. I just wanted to help the Black community.” ~ March 30, 2022
In just three years of launching the first Black-owned delivery service, twin brothers Aaron and David Cabello have managed to expand. Their Black and Mobile App started in Philly back in 2019. The app was created to give Black-owned businesses that are often underrepresented and overlooked the proper technology to expand their customer base. By 2020, they expanded into Atlanta and Baltimore and now, they’re to Los Angeles, New York City – bringing the total to five cities. Mar 25, 2022
